We loved it and would happily return. The hotel was excellent, the room was fabulous and modern, had essentials for a very pleasant stay. The property was in a magnificent location right by the Black Forest...

The location by the Black Forest was perfect, and I particularly enjoyed having a comfortable room with a fan and air conditioning during the summer.

Great place welcoming motorcyclists, even wet ones! Our wet gear was kindly put into the drying room overnight. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are well appointed. It's pristine and very pleasant. The location puts the guest in close proximity to beautiful sights in the black forest. We found the staff and chef/owner to be very friendly, nice and accommodating. We arrived late (9:30 or so) and the kitchen had closed but he made us a fantastic dinner with the grill. In fact, I would say the food is one reason to stay. We came back to the hotel early the second night just to have dinner there again. The food is top notch including the breakfast. I would stay here again without hesitation and would recommend it to anyone.
Although the staff and chef were fantastic, the owner's wife was not. I'm not sure what was going on but I think she should work a little harder to be as friendly and accomodating as the chef (her husband?) and everyone else. It certainly didn't harm our impression or our stay and it's only a suggestion but she could help improve the overall experience.

Breakfast and meal ok. 1 of the waiters very good. Bed ok.
I spent more than 2000 nights in hotels due to my work and it's a first: this hotel is along a very busy road for Black Forest and curtains are just not occulting morning light at all. So I was awaken by the noise of a truck around 4 am and due to morning light, not able to sleep. After breakfast, I felt dizzy and managed to sleep ... till a phone call of the woman who owns this hotel saying ' it's 11 - you must quit if you don't stay another night'. Beginning to pack, I heard a noise at the door - I opened it, she was behind the door - So I kindly asked if I could take a short shower. She became angry and refused, arguing the cleaner had almost finished! So I took everything and finished to dress in my car after paying with a smile. This is not exactly german Gemütlichkeit! Try to avoid this one, just for the lesson. Thanks in advance.

Motorcycle Paradise
I had the most incredible motorcycle holiday in the Black Forest, staying at a quiet location surrounded by stunning scenery. The suite room was spacious and spotlessly clean, providing the perfect retreat after long rides. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English, making me feel right at home. The hotel even had secure storage for my motorcycle, giving me peace of mind. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, and the restaurant in the evening served outstanding meals at great value. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I can't wait to plan my next trip centered around this hotel. I highly recommend this hidden gem in the Black Forest for any motorcycle enthusiast like me.
